4.0 DELI SCRUBS

One of the the first Scrub moments that come to mind was when, I believe it was a play-off game at Hoover, and Jesse hit a grand slam to left center field--you know over the 25 foot high concrete wall, and he came to home plate saying, "Did I just do that?"

It was a pretty funny moment. Gino also hit a bomb in the same place earlier that game. I think we had been trailing the entire game until that moment, and the other team just lost all hope after Jesse's grand slam. Good times.

That was a great moment for the Scrubs organizations. Semi Finals against the Bangin Byrds late in the game, JC crushes a granny in the apartment complex in left-center to ulitimately get us into the championship game. That was a great win!

How about the 'greatest win in Scubs history' at the time vs. the Bandit. Peter scores on a close play at the dish on a little dink ball for the walk-off at Otay Ranch JV. Back when the Bandits were our biggest rival and we could NEVER beat them. Great win!

Coming back from a 8 run first inning last Spring vs the Tigers at Alliant, listening to them talking shit! We didn't freak out and then dropped 30 runs on them for the win. That win turned our season around and we go on to play in the final later that season. Most proud TEAM momment.

My personal most memorable moment was my championship game grand slam last summer, just trying not to pass Fresh on the base paths. Him just saying "damn, slow down Herm, and enjoy it."

The one that sticks in my head more than any other: I don't remember who we were playing. I don't even remember whether we won. But Rob is on third, batter is ready to go. Suddenly, without any warning, Rob takes off for home, running like a wild man, screaming at the top of his lungs, "DON'T FUCKING SWING! DON'T FUCKING SWING! DON'T FUCKING SWING!" Everybody, starting with the pitcher, is caught so off-guard we all just stand there and watch him go. I still laugh every time I think of it.

Team memory: The Tigers game where we trailed by like 8 or 9 in the 2nd, hearing them chirping about how overrated we were and how they would like to go home early. History shows we dropped a fucking 30 spot on them and by the end of the game they were yelling at eachother and wondering why they didnt bring lube for the ass rape we handed them.

Personal: I hit a grandslam vs the banging birds, and while I was rounding the bases I was a little excited, yelling god knows what to anyone who would listen.

Another teammate: Gino doing a flip at 2nd base, that was intense
