I have come to the realization that I will not get the batting title this year....as long as you relise that the golden glove award was lost in your first game.....if it was not for the catching skills we would have lost that game....the catcher is a vital position

I predict a .227 for Scotty-No-Cocky, and will be in the running for the 'K' award. I do give props for the catching. It takes a real moron to sit crouched like that for 3hrs on a Sunday...you are the man for the job!!! You can find me tanning in CF.

Its hard to muster up the energy and hit 4 for 4 when you are catching all star pitchers like Matty, Kenny, Dom, and Brandon....you really have to be on your toes......

Scott to hit .200 you need a hit every 5 offical at bats! You better hope for a good game next week! Here is a tip, work on moving your front foot towards the pitcher before the ball comes out of the pitchers hand! That one is free of charge! Also use a lighter bat!

Yeah right he needs a bigger heavier bat! His problem is that he is way to buff to be swinging these little bats that we have and it is fucking up his perfect swing!

Maybe he needs to start using a wood bat, like a 35 inc. 33oz. Also the pitching is to slow! His swing is too fast since he hits in the 40 mph cages! Who cares if he hits, He is a gold glove behind the plate Right?

Scott is going to get a hit this week and raise his avg. to .100! I hope you can find time for the cages like you find time to golf par 3s all the time!

Scott,
You have 2 games against bad pitching to prove me wrong! I had predicted that you would hit under .245. You are at .211 right now and inorder to prove me wrong you need to hit exactly .500 in the next 2 games. If you go 3-6 or 4-8 you will do it! You have been on a hot streak, and I think you can do it! These last 2 teams i'm sure have pitchers who throw puss! GO SCOTT!
As for the team, we have a good chance of out scoring our opponents this year! I didn't think we had a chance going into game 7 of the year. We have done a great job, I would like to thank Cole for helping us not get destroyed this year! GO SCRUBS!

Scott, I predicted a .227 with the 'K' award earlier in this thread,...I got both those picks in the running, you can do it--focus up! I put the odds over/under for your final avg. at .233 I take the under.

What about the team batting .326,..very nice. Gino is right about the last two teams. They suck, and you'll need to be patient at the plate. Wait for that fat cookie and rope-a-dope it. This team we play on Sunday is horrible, looking back at some of their past scores, we should be out in 7 or we suck.

And yes, The Cole Train is a major factor in our success. He has been in most of my 100 plus career games, and can say I've never seen him get 'out-pitched' Let's not forget that he can hit also. I have seen several jacks by the Train.

So have we learned something here? The Cole Train is the ticket to where we wanna be and we didn't register him? So as soon as we qualify for the post-season we're done because it would be really chicken shit to bump somebody else out because we have an illegal guy and we'll get DQ'd when someone looks at our roster?

What do you all think about this? Do we in the future register Cole and Ayers just in case they show up? My vote is yes. (I know, I don't have any money in the game so I don't have a vote, but it's yes anyhow, because one or both of them always turn up sooner or later and it would head off the train wreck we're all about to enjoy.) Plus, if they don't show, it cuts the batting order down a couple of guys, which isn't all bad.

Meanwhile, let's get the last two ('cause after that, it's the end of the road for Spring 2008 now matter how it turns out).

Go Big Scrubs!

It's ok because we want to stay in single a one more year! I don't think half of our team would have fun in AA. Doug, do you not have faith in our 4 other pitchers? Ha Ha! I thought a 11.00 era was good?
Next season we will have them both on the roster if they want to play. Go Scrubs!

Easy..

.300 Scotty! Why not? I doubt it... but hey "why not?"

Amazing how the stats followed me from sport to sport. My college football team Gino gave up 12 points a game too like our other Scrubs pitching--We just called them Touchdowns.

We'll be fine without Cole in the playoffs as long as we put up 2 touchdowns worth of runs and an extra point here and there. We'll just have to Win 14-12 every game.

Bring the Whoopin STICK! Go Big Scrubs!

That's the problem,...we are unlikely going to score 14 runs a game through the playoffs, just doesn't happen. I have many under my belt, and I can't recall scoring more than 10 in any of them. We will need to swing big, cause that is the only way we can win since we have no strategy or game plan.

Go Giant Scrubs!!! Ha, that's bigger....
