4.0 DELI SCRUBS

Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop....

When I went to the managers meeting to sign up for the summer season I meet with the commissioner and requested that the Scrubs stay in 18A.... the commissioner looked at our record and told me "if we have an uneven number of teams in 18AA you will be moved up.... I also heard from Jimmy, Jesse, and read on the SDABL bulletin board that a few teams are bitching that we are staying down in 18A.... All of this did not help our cause and this is why we are in 18AA.... Plus its always been protocol for the top 2 teams to move up.

On Saturday we have an afternoon game. I guess Jimmy requested an afternoon game since a few of his players have morning commitments. I apologize for this, it never crossed my mind to request a morning game. Sorry...

I hope Derek is going to read this.... Do you mind taking the reins on Saturday since I will not be there? Lineup cards are in my bag...

Peter came by today and picked up my baseball bag...so all the gear and V12 is in it.... Doug if you don't mind bring a few extra baseballs from the 3 dozen I gave you... Just in case we need them.

Next season we will have a roster of 14... the two guys we are picking up are pitchers... Talk to Jesse and he will tell you more.... I will adjust the Scrubs breakdown and give refunds....


(Side note) Place your bets... The Scrubs gave Doug a bottle of high end single barrel Jack as a team gift 3 weeks ago...

Got it. I'll bring a dozen, put six rubbed up ones in as game balls and get six (if I know the umpires, I'll get 12) new ones and put them in our stash.

Finished that delicious baby up last week. I rationed myself. It was excellent. Thanks again!
