Was wondering, if we as a group, would ever be interested in doing a tournament out of town. Preferably, Vegas. I think it would be a great time! It would be great to hear some thoughts on this. Btw, Thea plese answer for Matt. Thanks

I would love to play in Vegas.... BUT!!!!!!

If we play a minimum of 4 games it looks like we will need more pitchers....

Problems: Vegas will cost me and most likely all of you the same...$2,527 per player
$2,527 x 14 players = $35,378 for the entire team....

Tournament will probably cost $1500.... 14 players / $1500 = $107 each player

Add Hotel rooms: 4 to a room $200 a night for 3 nights.... $600 / 4= $150
(nothing beats being 31 years old and spooning Peter and Doug at the same time)

90% of the team has a gambling problem.... Debit card limit is $500 every 24 hours... 3 days...$1500
(Most likely to loose their ass...Scott, Gino, Derek, and Doug) Lets not even count the money you brought in your wallet to Vegas.

Add in the cost of Lunch and Dinner....$15 per meal 6 meals = $90
(Sure a few meal might get comped)

Add in the cost of Strippers..... $20 bucks a lap dance...15 lap dances... $300
(May the stripper Gods have mercy on you if you play "Around the World"

Plane Flight: Southwest round-trip.... $240
(You could drive but nothing is worse then the drive home from Vegas)

Cap fair: $40
(This is probably low)

Drinks that are not comped: $100
(This is also low...you will get bottle service at a the strip club)

Derek you know we have had conversations about tournaments before, so you can count me in. I'll give blood or donate my sperm so I can play, I don't care.

There are, however, a lot of tournaments that go on around So. Cal. I remember when I was on previous teams we played tournaments often around LA, and Orange County. The Vegas tournament is fun, very hot, yet competitive. I'll start researching...There has to be tournaments here in San Diego at some point, if not, I'll look a little north like I said, and maybe we can start smaller, cheaper too.
