This train only goes forward...

Tough break today Scrubs. We got up early, but couldn't keep it together. We're looking indecisive in the batter's box. Lets swing at strikes you know you can hit, rather than trying to hit every strike. I'm not worried about us. Let's just continue to swing it out. We'll get 'em next game!

Great win yesterday! Everyone can credit the good pitching, good defense, and most important, timely hitting. It is the best feeling knocking the undefeated team off their pedestal. You all got me pumped! I was left really hungry to play during the game. Coaching third base and not getting involved was hard, but my hand should be strong enough to play next game.

Shout out to Matt Martin...I told you all you needed was to swing out your slump. Great game at the plate!

One of the most memorable games for me as a Scrub happened today. A pitcher's duel, assisted by some crappy umpiring, and eager swings. All in all though, we won, and we can credit this win to those who played to the situation, and did what was needed, when we needed it.

Our pitching staff got out of some major situations with near to no damage, proving their grit to be no myth. With Jesse McGough's power, Andrew's wicked nasty curve that gets better and better as he gets tired (I'm calling him "Nasty" now because that curve is just NASTY), and Kirby's sneeky repertoire of pitches. We got something special in our pitching trio.

Shout out to Derek Ayers: Your bunt set the stage for us tying the game, that led to us winning the game. Big hits in big situations. Gino's RBI single in the first. Jesse's big RBI knock up the middle to tie the game. Matty's RBI single to right for the win. That's baseball boys! Things can happen when we set ourself up for success. That's all I'm sayin'.

All aboard!

And let's not forget to give a shoutout to Brandon as well, whose reliable on-base habits put him in the right place at the right time to score two of our three runs.
