From our SDABL Commissioner today regarding our game at Mar Vista JV on Saturday:

"The bathrooms are across the street in the park … and we got in big trouble at this field a month ago when a few players used behind the dugout instead. If that happens again, the offending team will be fined."

We're all potty-trained. Let's not get ourselves sideways over this. Go across the street, not behind the dugout.

I'm sure they will, Doc. I recall a potty break you took some years ago at a game at El Cajon Valley. No restrooms, no porta-potties, so in order to be a good citizen and not go behind the dugout, you jumped in your truck and raced off campus to a Mickey D's or somewhere to use the facilities. Next thing we knew, your next at-bat came up and you were still finishing the paperwork. Automatic out. So if you're at the plate with a 3-2 count and you need to go, call time out first!
