Talk about a lose-lose situation ...

If you've ever wondered how badly things can go down the drain, look at this post from SDABL's Bullpen re the Sunday 18AAA championship game, where BOTH semi-final teams lost the same game due to unregistered players:

In a nutshell, both teams protested the other's roster and won the protest.

Elite somehow didn't have "formal" listing for two players that were on the team the whole season. Just a basic admin error I guess. Even if it was a program glitch (which it might have been) it still was an oopsy that the manager, knowing him, is probably preparing for hari-kari at this moment for not noticing the error earlier in the season.

As for the game itself, Elite won on the field, then lost off the protest.

However.....

Apparently the Rebels had a case of the same medicine as after Elite was protested out of the win, the Rebels roster was checked and it was found that they too had a couple of unregistered players.

Basically, a game wherein you get two losing teams and no winners.

What's that old saying?
"One finger points at me while three point back to you."

And that's called a cluster-f*ck. Any questions?

Soon we'll all be lined up outside the dugout with or ID's before each game. I want a definition of a 'ringer'. Is it just someone who isn't on a roster? Or is it someone who isn't on the roster and is 'good' What is the definition of good then? My opinion, shut up and play ball.
