An ESPN on-line post this morning:
The big dance is back. (Not this big dance, but still.) And regardless of how we got here, it's not how you start, it's how you finish. And if you're 3rd-seeded UConn, you've never finished the Sweet 16 with a win against a higher-seeded team (see: 1991 vs Duke, and 2003 vs Texas). Which is not good news since you're facing 2nd-seeded San Diego State (7:15 ET). Except that no Mountain West team has ever reached the Elite 8. Which is not good news for the Aztecs, just like it's not good news for the Cougars of BYU who take on the Gators of Florida (7:27 ET). The defending-title-winners from Duke take on Arizona (9:45 ET) in a rematch of the 2001 title game. Duke won that title, too. And if they win it again this year, Coach K will have more wins than any coach ever in Division I. Which would make it a doubly good time to go out on top and coach the Lakers. Unless it wouldn't. Meanwhile, the first basket may have already been made at the Final Four. Unless it hasn't. Thank goodness Louisville coach Rick Pitino will try to help us make sense of it all live on SportsCenter at 11:00 am ET.
