Scrubs Fantasy Lineup

Postby CoachShane » Fri Jun 13, 2008 11:29 pm

Sorry Scott... everyone gets to play except you.

Everyone else...for shit and giggles lets pretend Scotty got hammered at Club Safari tomorrow in TJ and can't make the game. You get the call from Scotty Sunday morning and he says, "It's YOUR SHOW TODAY" ....

HOW WOULD YOU SET THE LINEUP FOR THIS SUNDAYS GAME?

I'll play..

1-Brandon - Veteran in the field, on the bases, and the batters box--Bunts himself on.

2-Daniel - Put Daniel in a position that requires him to excel for the better of the team and he ropes a single.

3-Gino - With those 2 on base Gino will rip the ball to the gaps for sure, Herman score from 1st too.

4-Matt Martin - You can count on Martin to switch spots with G for a run

5-Kenny - Kenny has very good extra base potential which should bring in Martin for an early 4-0 Lead to start the game. Double for "OchoK" Still nobody out.

6-Peter - Spanks an easy single and then steals 2nd

7-Dom - Flares hit over the 2nd baseman to advance Peter to third

8-Matty - Ropes a Double down the right field line scores Dom 7-0 1st inning, still nobody out

9-Nick - Draws a walk because he is scared to strike out.

10-Doug - Slaps a single down the right field line with DHammer

11-Justin Cole - Helps the cause with a smack up the middle with his 9- Iron

12-BDripp - Draws an easy walk

13-Marcus - Hit by a pitch to add on to his team lead more the most

14-Shane - GRAND SLAM... 1st Career HR

Back to the Top Boys!!

That is the amazing thing I've learned about baseball. WE COULD JUST KEEP HITTING!! Try having that type of mental attitude in the Box!

If were to be the Home Team, so we take the field and lets say Cole Train goes 3 UP and 3 DOWN! Baseball has the probability that the Scrubs team, maybe with the lineup above, could come up to bat and we could HIT FOREVER. Seriously! Think about that for a moment. That's why I'm so excited for the opportunity to play this game with all of you for the first time. We could literally keep hitting and hitting and never have take the field for the rest of the game. The GAME of Baseball gives you that probability. NOT football, NOT basketball, not even La Crosse. Amazing! WE COULD JUST KEEP HITTING UNTIL DARK. I know its never happened and it's not likely EVER to happen, but its probable! We could just sit there and keep hitting the shit out the ball and getting on base. Lets take it to them on Sunday. That is what the game of baseball offers boys. THEY HANG IT WE BANG IT! See you at the YARD!

Coach, we've actually had innings like that (sometimes going our way, sometimes not). The ones where somebody goes through their lineup a couple of times and the hits (and the runs) just keep on coming'! It's great fun when it's us ... it's a real shitty afternoon when it's them.

If there is a baseball god, he arranges those somewhere around the seventh inning so the 12 run mercy rule can kick in.

I know this is your fantasy. A little different than mine, which often involves 22 year old twins. And no, I won't trade fantasies.

BTW, I'm also taking the under on Nick.

If Hugh Hefner can have 20-something twin girlfriends, this seems like a fair and reasonable fantasy. And much more entertaining than a 150 hit baseball game. Hef has about 25 years on me and is not nearly as good looking ... of course he does have a few million dollars that I don't ...

The great George Carlin (my other favorite comedian after the late Sam Kinnison). Rest in peace.
