Scouting Report for Reds

Postby Jesse25 » Wed May 25, 2011 10:05 am

Starting pitchers: they have 3 legit starting pitchers. One guy we have faced 3 times and came up victorious 2 times. He throws mid to gigh 70's with movement. Has a slider that is very similar speeds to his fastball.
The next starter is a stocky built workhorse who throws low 80's with great command on his fastball. He will toss in a 65-70 mph curveball to mix things up and keep us off balance. His stamina is unquestioned with an assortment of complete games vs top opponents. Throws strikes!! He will give you stuff to hit early in the count so be ready. If he's ahead, just shorten up and do work.
Next is the closer/starter that goes by the name of joel on the reds. He throws mid 80's and has played extensive collegiate baseball. He has a nasty slider which is 10mps off his fastball and will throw it in any count. My intel says he is a 4inning guy and will most likely start against us in hopes that we will shut down our offense to shorten the game. I am lead to believe he will start and then hand the ball off to one of the other pitchers mentioned above.

How to prepare for faster pitching?
Cage work!! Go to the age this week and have them crank it up to 80. It will simulate the speed we will be facing and give your quick twitch muscle memory a good starting point. By next week we should be dialed in and ready to crush. Take this game seriosuly boys, we will be playing for pride and for an undisclosed item that will symbolize reds vs scrubs.

Don't let the fact that we are 2-0 vs the Reds pull you off the bag. They have at least one pitcher we have never seen, and apparently he's good. The past is past, this is the bragging rights game. Go to the cages, have somebody throw you some real fast and/or real shit balls, but let's keep our Scrubs OUTRAGEOUS OFFENSE together and delivering overwhelming runs and we'll KICK ASS. Remember who the OFFENSE LEADER of the FUCKIN' WORLD is and the Reds don't have a chance.

As one of my best friends always says, HAVE FUN, DO FUCKING WORK!

Here's my scouting report for the Reds, who gives a shit about a Red, I see them as any other opponent. I gave myself a lobotomy after the first Tiger whooping cause I knew that team was better than they showed, and we didn't kick their ass. Their pitching blew too and we didn't hit it! Play your game, do what you can and let your balls do the talking between the lines. I know me and my fellow Scrubs have big fucking balls. Swing em.

Of course going in with the attitude that we will mash is always good, but being prepared to mash will even be better. We have a bunch of quick bats and lumberjacks on the team, were gonna have a really potent 11 man lineup, remember Scotty and Rob wont be at the game. More Ab's? Yes, but only if we do what we do. I'm really anxious and excited about this game, not only because it's a championship but its against the FUCKING REDS. I'm just trying to help people who want it with the scouting report, take it how you want it. If you want some intel, I'll be more than happy to share what I have. Love you m'fers!!

Intel on opponents is always good big popa, but at the end of the day, they are just another team/speed bump on the Scrubs freeway of success, just got to go over them. Half the battle of winning anything is to remember why you are in the battle. Last time I checked, it was for the fun. If we WIN every inning, and have fun, the fucking Yankees couldn't beat us.

So Jimmy has to remind me everyday about how great this pitcher Joel is. I'm getting sick of hearing about it. Can't wait to play saturday and see what all the hype is about.
