Come prepared, be focused. Try to show up as early as you can that morning so you can get stretched out properly and be at your best come game time. I know these guys are gonna bring their "A" game so we can't just sit on our hands and assume we are gonna beat the crap out of them. We have to be aggressive and take everything from them. Swing the bat with purpose, steal the bag with max effort, pay attention, don't get down when a bad call/play doesnt go your way. Wev'e got eachothers back 100%. Enjoy this moment fellas, this is what being old as fuck is all about. You are now wise enough to appreciate the shit that matters. Like a fucking championship. Suck on some 5 hour energy before the game, you will be glad you did. My big ass is gonna be hopping around like a crackhead in a shoebox. I'm rambling on, because I am already geeked out of my mind for this game. It has consumed my week, my thoughts, my dreams. I had a dream that Gino went 4 for 5, with 3 hr's in the championship game..... Any thoughts?

I'm with Big Papa Bear on this one, I'm pumped. But we can't loose focus. Try not to pump your self too high. Try and keep your mind-set as if this is every other week, every other game and bring the goofiness, laughter, jokes, and joy we bring every week. Our minds can't be focused on the situation, this is a championship game--yes--but we have to make believe this is just like any other game.

If we look at every inning, every situation, every at-bat, as our present task and not blow things out of proportion, we'll be comfortable, relaxed, and really enjoy ourselves. Get a good night sleep, have sex with your wife (your lady or maybe a hood-rat), eat a good breakfast, or classical music--Whatever gets you relaxed, and get out to the field and do your same routine you always do (This means Matty better show up a little later than everyone, Matt not warm-up, Brent refuse to hit wiffles, you know all same good-ol' Saturday bullshit we do every week).

We have to do the small things great! Fundamentals! Communicate! Play as a team and pick each other up.

We've had success against this team in the past, but we cannot think about them. This game is a game against US!

I have the utmost confidence that we'll play well regardless of the results. Win every inning, and we'll win the game. Matty pitched exceptionally well against them the last game at Dana Center, I think he should have the ball. Lets reproduce that last game, including Derek's lineup.

Win!
