Rock Church's seven game streak is over after the SD Reds disrupted the Damato Field run with a 4-3 win this morning. Jimmy, we know you look at our board, so pls jump on and give us the play by play. Any jacks in that tiny park? Who pitched? What was Rock's excuse, since they're certain to try to sell us one? Oh, and congratulations .. well done!

Good pitching vs Good pitching usually means good pitching wins. The reds have a hard throwing righty who shut them down for the most part striking out 16-17 batters. We are gonna have our work cut out for us if we plan to run the table with the mighty reds still on our schedule for that last game

Jimmy gets a young arm, does this surprise anyone, and trust me, I know how much he's paying. The Rock lost, again, it's hard to go 10-0, even in this league. Even in our best seasons we lost games. Don't read that much into it. We WILL likely see the Reds at some point if we make a playoff run. Right now, we are POUNDING teams harder than the girls in the 1972 classic 'Deep Throat' staring Johnny Holmes (yes Derek, he's the 9 of Clubs haaha). We did some good things today--most notably Skott gunning a guy! Hit well, got on base and we had some steals, lots of 2BLs, etc. Keep it rolling next week.

If God® does indeed get involved in serious stuff like adult recreational baseball, He was a Reds fan yesterday. I had asked Jimmy to give us the play by play of the Reds taking Rock Church down. Here's the game story, and it's enjoyable even though it wasn't us that did it:

Hey Mr H, it was a great game we played against them. We were down 3 to 1 in the top of the 7th. We finally got some luck and got a lead off walk and got another runner on with a a boot. And Harkins came up and hit a 3 run shot to give us the lead 4 to 3. Our starter went the distance and had 15 K's and struck out 4 of the last 6 he faced. The whole day it felt like they had some help from above but we squeaked it out LOL. It was good game both starters went the distance and we out hit them 9 to 4. And there fat coach bitched the whole time it felt good to stick to his ass he protested the game due to a catchers interference call in the 8th inn but it was already denied. Good luck see you in 2 weeks looking forward to round 2!!!!!
