4.0 DELI SCRUBS

Just a heads up the new season for SDABL is right around the corner....

August 19th is the Final and only manager's meeting....$1250 is due....(I would need to collect dues ASAP)

Our last regular season game is this week.... August 14th

We are going to playoffs....I guess the playoffs will be the next week...August 21st

Tony Gynn Stadium for the finals would be August 28th or September 4th

The new season starts September 11th....

If the finals were held on the 28th this would give us 1 week vacation...or if the game is September 4th, the following week would be a new season....

If we go to Tony Gynn we would move up to 18 AA.....

Whats everyone's thoughts?????

I'll be working the TG Stadium games as official scorer and PA announcer as usual. Mike Micheli (SDABL president) says they have the stadium scheduled for August 28-29 and are negotiating for four single game nights (there are 12 championship games to squeeze in). We always do four on Saturday, four on Sunday and the Saturday 18A game wouldn't necessarily be played on Saturday. Could be Sunday or a weeknight. The point is, for planning purposes in case we get there, keep the whole weekend open and probably the weeknights before and after as well until the schedule comes out.

One other thing, six of the 12 games will (probably) be night games so it's 50-50 that the Saturday 18A game would be under the lights. SDSU has great lighting on the field (unlike Helix) but it's still different than playing under the blinding sun at Monte Vista JV.
