First I would like to thank my hitting coach...Derek...if it was not for you I would still be going to Canyonside baseball academy...

Next I would like to thank Brandon for dishing up a 40mph hanging curve ball....

Next I would like to thank myself and the off season regiment ...4.0 Deli, Wings n Things, Blueberry muffins, daily walks with my kid, and countless hours of black ops to work on my hand eye coordination.

Next I would like to thank the entire team for sticking with me for 10+ seasons....

Next I would like to thank mother nature for the wind that was blowing out.....

I guess we are talking about Skotties 380' bomb to CF on the last pitch of BP today...Skott, believe it or not, you are a big, strong mutha-fuka, you just need to harness your energy in the core of your body. The strength you have while on your feet is 18 inches, between your upper thigh and your nipple line is where all you power comes from. Work on this area, I really focus on this at the gym, and during the training I do. I only 'hit' cause I'm an athlete, I'm not a good hitter, never have been growing up. I relied on my speed to get me through my youth, and it became who I am to the game. I 'learned' to become a better hitter. Seriously, besides tee ball and caps I hit 1 HR in my teens before semi retiring at 15. Flash forward to 25, I prob hit 15 HR in all games with Reds/Scrubs, why? Stronger and more importantly, knew the game better.

My advice for what its worth, chill, let the ball come to you, and whack dat shit!
IF YOU AREN'T DOING WORK, GRAB A SHOVEL SON!!!
