Good win

Postby Jesse25 » Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:38 pm

Good win, but by no means did we play at our best. Were gonna be scary good when were hitting on all cylinders. Good pitching today, got out of some jams, defense looked solid for the most part. Some people had some rust to shake off(Myself included)Batting. Can't wait until we all start hitting, it's gonna be scary how many runs we can score. By the way Scrubs get half off beer at the Deli anytime!!

THE NEED TO WORK ON
.282 for the game not good in adult
--Getting some more bats to confuse me when selecting weapons, we need more variety
--A bit more hustle out of everyone, I felt the heat late in the game too and drug my ass out there slowly a few times, but it keeps you in the game to get out there and be ready to WIN.
--Fist pumping the guys as they score, this is common sense boys, everyone should be knockin the guy as he comes in. I see the pros do it, ever run or every 162 games. Its at touchdown, and sometime rare in this sport. Get off your ass and do it!

THE GOOD
--Had 11 hits
--I would say 'good' D considering the field, even the ball I had to 'fall' to get was result of the outfield loaded with mines and my eyes were bouncing like it was Scrubs bobble head night.
--Made Jimmy look dumber (if thats possible) cause he can't count the number of runs WE score!?!? I wanted to see Jimmy and ScHot to fight hahaa.
--Pitching was really good for the time off. Matty massaging em in and Rob throwing a bit of gas. Good outings both.
--Skotties new chest protector, looks like RoboCop with that thing on!

THE BETTER
--WE did work and WON.

Be kind to Jimmy on that one, he was home so he was the official book and didn't have to let us have the run. It turned out not to be a game-changer so no harm, no foul whichever way it went. It's the easiest thing in the world to miss a run when there's something else happening on the field at the same time, and as I recall Dan was the second run in on the hit and there was still a play possible on the bases. Believe me, I've missed runs before, more than once, and I've scored a LOT of baseball games!

Didn't have to give us the run cause he's the 'home' book? Really? We should never lose a home game again if thats the case...And maybe if he didn't attack the idea that his team was losing by one more run than he wanted and called US out on it is direct grounds to NOT be kind to him. Game-changer or not is besides the point.

BigRed, you keep a great book, you don't need to feel bad for those who don't.

Great win today boys! We didn't jump on em early like I wanted, we could have put that game away earlier, but we finished very strong! Great starting pitching again, and solid D. If we make plays in the field and pitch well our bats will out hit anyone out there! Can't wait to get out there again!
