3pm First Pitch??

After looking at the schedule for the league on Saturday, I can't figure out why we have a 3pm start time unless there is an umpire shortage. We are the only game scheduled that day for Monte Vista varsity. There are two on the J.V. field that day (9:30, 1:30). What's the deal with that???

The only games on MV Varsity this season have involved either the Goodies (Sat 18AA) or the San Diego Red Sox (Sun 28AA). All of the games except those in Week 1 have been 3pm starts. My guess..somebody on those teams has a connection at the school. Probably the same guy, playing on both teams. Why the 3pm starts? No idea.
