4.0 DELI SCRUBS

Baseball, like life requires commitment, dedication to a goal(s) and consistency to be successful. What kind of club will the Scrubs be fielding this Spring? This is the start of a new ‘year’ for us. We went 19-11-1 in 2010. We are a better team than that. Highlight was our dramatic playoff run that got us into the finals, a place it took us years to get back to, and for some, their first time! It wasn’t at TG, and we didn’t win, but it was still cool, and a fun experience (even without a granny). I think we are totally capable of better thing: show a desire to be there with your fellow friends playing ball, strive towards the common goal, and do it together, the same way every week! Do this, and we never lose….

When our ‘D’ is on, or our pitching is shut down, or we ALL hit, we can’t be beat. You can’t expect to do all three each week, but WE better be doing 2 of 3 if we expect to win. Do what you can, know your strengths. I’m out there for my speed, defense, and good looks. What are you going to bring to the dance February 19th!!?? In closing, we need to set up a practice, maybe two (I know, a stretch) in the next month. We need it, we know it, and don’t be a lazy piece of shit and think it’s not fun and worth it. If so, go play for Jimmy!
