4.0 DELI SCRUBS

We are most likely going to AA ball next season and are in need of some serious pitching depth. I think it should be up to the team to expand the roster to 14 players. We need pitchers, and yeah it might cost you a few ab's per season but the upside is that we wont have to rely on Brandon, Gino, Me, brent, etc, to pitch. Requirements of player/players that would come aboard.
1. Not be a clubhouse problem
2. Have funny stories about sex, booze, or just a random funny story about your kid pooping in the fridge.
3. Not be handsome, lets face it we have way too many good looking guys on our team. Im tired of it
4. Willing to dedicate saturdays to our team and be a good teammate

We say this every season and our fine skip Schottie always finds a way to keeps us down. If we DID have to move up, JC is right, we don't have the pitching to survive. Let's take the summer 2010 champs the A's who beat us in the champ game, they are hurting. I ran into them after our game in the parking lot at El Cajon a few weeks back and they were like 0-5 at the time and their ace was saying he gets bombed on each week. I'm not sure that is something any of us want to go through. Matty has been great, but he has been throwing a ton lately, even in games we have under control, and never gets a break really. We can't have him work like that and hope he'll be able to play catch with his own kid someday. But the big question is, where do we find this young, not good looking, committed, good club house guy? I still think $5 hand jobs on Montezuma from Schot would do the trick....JC can pimp him out from the Deli and throw in a hoagie to aspiring players.
